“The Forbidden Bloom of Red Gum Flower Crystal”
Deep in the abandoned tin mine on the border of Yunnan, there grows a kind of crystal that “bleeds”. Miners call it “the mountain demon’s dowry” because every miner will mysteriously disappear within seven days, leaving only the red gum flower crystals blooming in the shape of blood threads on the tools. Botanist Lin Wan accidentally got a piece during exploration:
🌺 New “petals” will stretch out in the crystal under sunlight (actually the growth of mineral cracks)
🌑 At midnight, you can hear the rustling sound of a woman combing her hair
After she made the crystal into a bracelet, she found that: • Wearing it to arrange flowers, withered roses will bloom in reverse • But when changing the water, there is always a layer of blood-red oil film floating on it On a full moon night, the bracelet suddenly became hot and broke. The falling beads spelled out the word “bandit” on the floor, and a circle of cinnabar mole with the same texture as the red gum flower appeared on Lin Wan’s left ring finger… The mountain demon’s contract: ▫️ Each “flower” is an unfinished ghost marriage token ▫️ Continue to grow with the body temperature of the living ▪️ When the crystal turns completely red, the wearer will become the “bride of the mountain” (modern jewelers soak this kind of crystal in black dog blood and sell it, claiming that it can attract peach blossoms – but they don’t know what kind of “fate” it attracts)
