Tea artist Shen Qinghe found a string of white jade bamboo bracelets in an old alley in Jiangnan. Each bamboo section was carved with half-opened orchids. The shop owner was a white-haired old lady who stroked the jade and bamboo and said, “This item recognizes its owner. It will smell like bamboo if you wear it for a long time.”
