“Tears of the Tide of Blue Crystal”
Under the deepest whirlpool of the Aegean Sea, there is a cursed crystal palace sleeping. Every full moon night, ice-blue crystal fragments fall from the palace dome, and fishermen call it “mermaid’s sin stone”.
When the aphasic girl Arte picked up this crystal on the beach, she found that:
🌊 Ancient music scores will emerge when soaking in sea water (but only the first half)
🎻 Sticking to the body of the piano can automatically complete the melody (vibrating with overtones)
The most amazing thing is that on a stormy night, the chorus of shipwreck victims hundreds of years ago came out of the crystal, and her throat suddenly could produce a heavenly harmony.
The old priest told her the truth: these are crystals of the Siren’s tears, each of which contains —
▪️ The memory of a sailor seduced by the song
▪️ A fatal melody that has not been sung
▪️ A chance to atone for sins with sound
Modern revelation:
① Crystals will develop corresponding spectra when they come into contact with different instruments
② The music played with them can relieve tinnitus
③ But they must not be played continuously for more than seven minutes (otherwise, the Siren’s curse will be awakened)
(Science Easter Egg: The crystal has a special structure and will temporarily show superconducting properties when encountering a specific sound wave frequency)
