“Galactic River of Broken Diamonds”
The jeweler’s daughter watched her father use tweezers to set broken diamonds into bracelets since she was a child, and she always thought it was a waste of effort: “Why not use a whole big diamond? It’s so tiring.”
The father just smiled and handed her a magnifying glass: “Look at the cut surface of each diamond.”
Through the lens, she was surprised to find that each broken diamond was refracting different light – some were blue like morning dew, some were gold like sunset, and some were green like aurora. They formed a flowing galaxy on the bracelet.
