“The Light of Atonement of Milky White Crystal”
There is an abandoned monastery on the top of the Alps, and a kind of glowing milky white crystal grows in the cellar. The nuns call it “Angel’s Remains” because everyone who touches it will instantly see their most guilty memory.
Emma, a field nurse, brought back a bracelet made of it:
🤍 When bandaging the wounded, it will exude calming frankincense (the effect is comparable to morphine)
⛪ When passing by the church, Latin prayers will appear
Until one midnight, she found that the crystal was sucking the blood of the wounded – the milky white gradually turned into light pink, and strange handwriting appeared in her atonement diary:
“In September 1943, I deliberately gave less painkillers to the wounded in bed 7…”
But Emma was clearly born in 1945.
Three laws of milky white crystal:
① Absorbing the pain of others will make it more and more turbid
② It can transfer wounds on the night of the waning moon (but the scar will grow on the wearer’s soul)
③ When it is completely transparent, the truth about the suicide of the first generation of nuns will be revealed
(X-ray shows: there is a spiral structure inside the crystal, like a frozen DNA chain)
Metaphor:
Some light is born with shadows, just as salvation is always born from the same source as sin.
