“Starry Sky”
[I] The Lost Pearl at the Auction
Jiang Wan, a graduate student in the Department of Astronomy, accidentally bought a peculiar bracelet at an antique auction – yellow sapphires and blue sapphires were alternately connected, like the sun, moon and stars wrapped around the wrist. The auction archive shows that it once belonged to a legendary aerospace engineer couple in the last century.
[II] Two-color resonance
Whenever she wore the yellow sapphire to observe sunspots, the telescope would automatically calibrate; and when the blue sapphire touched the star map, it would always show traces of pencil modifications. The most amazing thing was that on the night of a total lunar eclipse, the two different-colored gems actually projected a complete design drawing in the dark.
[III] Cross-time and space puzzle solving
Following the clues of the drawing, Jiang Wan found a deliberately hidden space log in the basement of an abandoned observatory. On the yellowed paper, the husband’s handwriting was so strong that it could be seen through the paper: “The gravity formula is wrong, your blue sapphire will guide them.” And the wife’s reply was on the next page: “Your yellow sapphire is guarding the future.”
(The bracelet suddenly heated up, and the lunar module model in the glass display case suddenly lit up with the same signal light as in 1969)
