“The Copper Coin of Pixiu”
Li Ming, who failed in his business, bought a black obsidian Pixiu bracelet at a street stall. The stall owner said mysteriously: “Pixiu only takes in but not out, you will get rich if you wear it.”
Sure enough, Li Ming soon received a big order and could pick up money while walking. But strangely, he could not keep the money he earned – he encountered a customer refund as soon as he received the payment, and he fell ill and was hospitalized as soon as the bonus arrived.
A master told him: “Pixiu has no anus, money goes in but not out, but it becomes a situation of leaking money.” He taught Li Ming to put a copper coin in the mouth of Pixiu, which means “there is both money in and out”.
From then on, Li Ming donated a little bit of every profit, and his business became more and more stable. He understood: the real way to attract wealth is not to only take in but not to know how to circulate.
The moral of the story:
Money needs to flow – wealth is like water, if it is only hoarded and not flowed, it will dry up.
Good thoughts gather wealth – if you know how to share and give back, your wealth will last long.
The way of balance – the Pixiu’s “only taking in and not giving out” is a legend. In reality, you can only gain if you give.
