“Tiger Soul Flowing Light”
[I] Strange Lights in the Antique Street
Photographer Song Yan was attracted by a golden brown light in the Lhasa Antique Market – it was a rare yellow pagoda crystal tiger eye stone bracelet. Each bead was like a frozen sunset, and when it turned, sharp tiger-like lines appeared.
The old Tibetan said meaningfully: “It will help you find the wildest scenery.”
[II] Eyes behind the lens
Since wearing this string of beads, Song Yan’s photography works have suddenly become full of vitality. But every time I sort out photos late at night, I always find a pair of amber animal pupils in some foggy shots of mountains and forests.
The most bizarre thing is that the branches in those photos…are quietly changing their positions.
[III] Snow Mountain Scarf
On the seventh day of chasing snow leopards, Song Yan accidentally slipped off a cliff. Before he fell into a coma, he saw the bracelet bursting with dazzling golden light, and felt the warm fur on his neck.
When I woke up, I was lying in a herdsman’s tent with an old prayer flag wrapped around my neck.
“You are so lucky.” The herdsman handed me hot butter tea, “In the snowstorm, a snow leopard actually protected you with its body temperature.”
(Outside the tent, a string of wet tiger eye stone bracelets shimmered in the snow)
[Some protection, wearing wild clothes]
